Dear friends of music and art,
This is, unfortunately, already the finissage of the beautiful exhibition “Over the Lotus Sea” by Dao Droste. Enjoy the elegant and soothing art of this great artist. Perhaps you will also find a painting or sculpture from which you no longer want to part …? On this day, you have the opportunity to learn about these works of art first hand because the artist will be present!
On this occasion there is of course also a great concert! Recently we had the gifted guitarist Rasmus Vamos Fecher with us in the music studio. This time, his teacher will be heard here and we will get into the special listening pleasure of Latin American guitar music.
Alexander Sergei Ramirez will present his new program “Leyendas de America Latina”:
Pedro Ximenez-Tirado (1780-1856)
“The Rossini of Latin America”
Agustin Barrios-Mangoré (1885-1944)
“The Paganini from the jungles of Paraguay”
Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959)
“The single most significant creative figure from Latin America”
