My teachers distinguish themselves through their very different musical skills and exceptional variety at a consistently high standard. They all have in common that they are qualified specialists of their trade. Our long-standing enables us to prepare students for example for competitions such as “Jugend musiziert” (youths play music) or the entrance exam at conservatories. Or simply – just to awaken the joy of making music – for a lifetime!!! We all are qualified concert performers and therefore know exactly how to prepare students for concerts.
Gabriele Paqué concentrates on teaching adults. During her studies of the harpsichord and the organ she eventually came to Amsterdam, where she where she gained extensive international experience and concerted in many different places. Having more than 40 years of teaching experience, she can now offer an extensive educational program and she knows in her concentrated but also joyful way, how to awaken the motivation of her students to play the piano each time anew. Michelle Yen-Howland is responsible for teaching children and teenagers in English and Chinese. Born in Taiwan, she eventually came to Canada to continue her piano studies at the age of 20. After her graduation she concentrated on passing on her extensive knowledge to the younger generations. Meanwhile she has more than 20 years of teaching experience, where she granted many students the opportunity to successfully participate at competitions and college exams. Franziska Staubach is our young addition to the teaching staff at the Musikstudio. She has already won several prizes, including the „Anton Rubinstein international bachelor piano award“ in Düsseldorf. She also specialized in chamber music and art song.
