Dear friends of music,
It was again a great pleasure to welcome Urte Lucht in our Musikstudio. For this concert she had put together a really exciting program with three generations of Mozart and filled it with music by no less interesting companions of these composers. When Urte Lucht spoke about these composers in her usual lively manner before the performance, the music was given a context that made it all the more vivid, even for listeners who are not experts in the field.
The music was undoubtedly alive. Without effort, the interpreter took us on a journey from the early to the late classical period, which is a very special listening pleasure on the fortepiano. You can read more about this in Fritz Herzog’s article in the General Anzeiger:
Dear friends of music,
Urte Lucht has performed in the Musikstudio several times. First in 2017 with representatives of the Viennese Classic and in 2019 together with the dramaturge Dieter E. Neuhaus, in which they celebrated together with us the 200th anniversary of the great writer August von Kotzebues’s.
Now she is back and she has brought along compositions from three generations of the Mozart family! Starting with Leopold Mozart, the father of Wolfgang Amadeus, we go on this journey through time and meet a few companions along the way. Of course, Wolfgang Amadeus himself and his son Franz Xaver follow. But greats like Joseph Haydn and Ludwig van Beethoven are also represented in this concert and we will also get to know the two composers Josephine von Aurnhammer and Johann Ladislaus Dussek. A sure exciting journey through the world of the classical!
The concert won’t have a break. It is approximately 70 minutes long.
