Aylin Maggiarosa enriches the Musikstudio with her expertise in art history as a gallery assistant since April 2020. From 2012, Aylin Maggiarosa first studied art history and Christian archeology at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn. She later deepened this with the still ongoing master’s degree in art history. During her studies in Bonn, she gained a wide range of knowledge in key areas of medieval art history with Prof. Dr. Harald Wolter-von dem Knesebeck, with whom she is currently also writing her master’s thesis, but also with Prof. Dr. Birgit Ulrike Münch and Prof. Dr. Anne-Marie Bonnet in the focus of modern and contemporary art.
During her studies, internships in museums such as the LVR LandesMuseum and exhibition rooms, as well as various seminars in “curating” supplemented her skills. Her focus is particularly on the planning of exhibitions and the practical organization of those. Another focus is on the journalistic level – she created various texts for various institutions, including the Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (art and exhibition hall of the Federal Republic of Germany) and the LVR LandesMuseum. Ms. Maggiarosa also worked on various exhibition publications, whereby her area of responsibility extended to the creation of various texts and layouts, as well as working on the editing.
