Video from the discussion with the artist Dao Droste now online (in German)!

Dear friends of art,

On April 29, 2017, the exhibition opening on “Over the Lotos Sea” by the artist Dao Droste took place in the “Musikstudio und Galerie: Gabriele Paqué” in Bonn. The artist, born in Vietnam, has been living in Germany since the 1970s and turned to art after her studies in chemistry (with her doctorate). Since the end of the 1990s she has also been internationally reknown through her installations (eg “Open Mindedness” 1999), which could be admired in many European cities.
Being a Buddhist and Taoist, her drive is the sustainability through which man can live in harmony with nature. Dao Droste is a winner of the B.A.U.M. environment award 2015 in the area of “Culture and Media” and since 2009 she creates the statues of the “One World Award”, which are handed over to the prize-winners.

In this film the artist talks about herself and answers the questions of the moderators and the audience.
Have fun!
